Frustrating
Sorry there has not been much news on our blog in the last few days but we have been very busy trying to spend as much time with Toby as possible. To be honest the last few days have been extremely frustrating. Toby seems quite well in himself, however he is still having problems with being able to take milk. On Friday they tried feeding him milk but he did not seem to digest it so it was stopped and the same thing happened again this evening so the doctors are going to have to review him again in the morning. They don't really seem to know what is wrong. Please pray that Toby can take is his milk so that he can make a full and speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear that Toby isn't doing so well with his milk. Glad to hear that you're spending lots of time with your little man. Hope Catherine continues to recover well.

I have been following the blog and watching Toby. Sorry to hear that he is struggling to get back on milk. I am sure the docs will be trying to figure it out, sometimes babies just take a bit of time after NEC, not that any of that makes it any easier for you. I now look at every baby in my unit in a different light (and all the docs and nurses in the neonatal unit here in Glasgow agree Toby is very cute when I show them him on the blog!)
